Spiraling Up

🌀 How to Shift Your Energy, Feel Better, and Rise from Within

Have you ever felt the slow unraveling of a downward spiral? Maybe it starts as tension in your chest, a repetitive thought, or just a heaviness you can’t quite name.

 We all know that feeling…

But here’s the shift: what if you could spiral in the other direction?

Spiraling up is a skill. It’s not about faking joy or skipping over your emotions. It’s about catching a flicker of light—a small, honest moment that feels good—and letting it move through you. Letting it grow. Letting it lift you.

Think about a time you were somewhere quiet, in school, a library, a yoga class, and something unexpectedly funny happened. You tried to hold it in, but that spark of giddy joy lit up your whole being. That kind of energy? That’s the wave. Let it rise. Let the warmth of it ripple through your body. Let the joy leave its trace in you. You don’t have to earn it. Just receive it.

Think of it like surfing. You don’t create the wave— you catch it. You ride the energy. And little by little, you find yourself in a better place.

Most of us try to feel better by doing a complete 180, but that’s not always possible (or helpful). What is possible? Building real momentum from the inside out. When you practice spiraling up, you’re not bypassing your feelings. You’re meeting yourself gently and saying, “I’m ready to feel a little bit better.”

It’s not toxic positivity. It’s emotional self-leadership.

Here’s the truth: you're so powerful, so naturally tuned to energy, that you can teach your body how to rise. You can rewire your brain to reach for what's good. At first, it takes intention. But the more you practice, the easier it becomes. One day, spiraling up becomes your first reaction. Your nervous system begins to reach for better without force, without overthinking. Just flow.

This is the art. You don’t have to leap from low to high. You just reach for one small shift. A breath. A laugh. A feeling that brings you home to yourself. You let it live in you. And you keep choosing it.

You already hold the frequency you’re trying to get to. This is just your way home.

How to Spiral Up

1. Pause.
Notice how you feel—no judgment, just awareness.

2. Catch the Flicker.
Is there something that feels even slightly better? A memory, a sound, a sensation?

3. Let It In.
Breathe into that feeling. Let it land in your body like warmth or light.

4. Stay.
Don’t rush away. Let your system absorb it. Memorize the feeling.

5. Stack It.
Add another good thing. A stretch. A kind thought. A step into the sun.

6. Repeat.
This is the shift. This is the rise. Your body will remember.

In Love, Breathe, and Upward Momentum,

XO, Liv
